The Tascam FR-AV2 is a compact yet advanced field recorder that's been designed with film makers in mind. Featuring a 32-bit floating point and a maximum sample rate of 192 kHz, this audio recorder guarantees distortion-free sound supported by a broad dynamic range. Thanks to dual XLR/TRS combo inputs and ultra-HD DA preamps, you can capture the sound of professional microphones and other sources with minimal noise, even in quiet surroundings.
Wireless Timecode Synchronisation
The FR-AV2 features built-in timecode generation and synchronisation, allowing users to effortlessly synchronise audio with DSLR cameras and external timecode gear. Using the AK-BT2 Bluetooth-adapter (not included), you can even synchronise timecode wirelessly as well as monitor audio in real-time. This not only gives you more flexibility, but streamlines the recording process and reduces the need for external equipment. Boasting a space-saving design and USB-C compatibility, this Tascam field recorder is easily integrated into mobile video rigs.

Het is nog wat prematuur. Na 1 week “spelen” en aanpassen aan de setup kan ik zeggen dat de preamps beter klinken met mijn stem dan de zoom F3 preamps, maar minder mooi dan de high end preamps die ik tot mn beschikking heb. Maar helaas zijn geen van deze preamps 32float. 32 bit float maakt inderdaad dat je vervormde stukken in
bv protools met clipgain
weer “normaal” kan maken. Moet eerst meer ervaring op doen dan alleen deze week alvorens een definitief oordeel te kunnen vellen. De app met bluetooth werkt behoorlijk goed. Er zijn maar een paar “bugs” geweldig dat je over bluetooth kan monitoren. Jammer dat he geen files kan overzetten naar je telefoon via bluetooth. Als audio interface moet ik nog testen. So far So good…
